FROM UNDER THE TRUCK A Memoir

by | Read by Josh Brolin

Biography & Memoir • 5.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2024

It would be an understatement to call actor Josh Brolin's candid and honest memoir bizarre and epically confusing. He narrates the content artfully and understandably, with solid enunciation. However, the content takes the form of what sounds like brief diary entries that discuss his films, his parents--actor James Brolin and former casting director Jane Cameron Agee--and his substance abuse and arrests, among various other topics. There is no chronology. The narratives seem as if they were tossed in the air and delivered in the order they fell. This work may appeal to hardcore Brolin fans or fans of some of his films, such as GOONIES and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. But for others it will be a difficult listening experience.
