NEVER TRUST A DEMON

Narrator Michael Larkin throws himself into enthusiastic theatrics in this fantasy-adventure. Unremarkable Marilyn Sparks is content just to listen to the exciting stories of her eccentric Aunt Zenobia. But when Zenobia entrusts her with a cursed amulet containing an ancient demon, Marilyn finds herself fighting for her life and the fate of the world. Larkin adeptly creates a range of exaggerated tones to emphasize the larger-than-life quality of this pulpy production, especially once the gravelly demon Guptas joins the action. Larkin's voice is multiplied and echoed when the story calls for it, and musical cues are interspersed throughout.
