In a light Australian accent, Godfrey-Smith presents theories of evolution, mind, and connectedness and consciousness. His narration is down-to-earth and comfortable yet thought-provoking. Some intriguing topics discussed include the philosophy of living things and their consciousness, and ethics with animals relating to factory farming and animal experimentation.
