Audio essays of the sort heard on public radio explore a city woman's discovery of nature in an isolated cabin. This is familiar territory, which is dealt elsewhere with considerably more depth and less preciousness than the author/narrator is capable of. Still, she reads in a pleasant, ingratiating voice of things that will strike responsive chords with many listeners.
