EDGE OF EVIL

by | Read by Kris Faulkner

Mystery & Suspense • 7.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2006

It's bad enough that lead character Alison Reynolds is a snooty whiner who didn't mind age and gender discrimination when she landed her job as a television news anchor but now plans to sue because she was fired for a younger model. So why does Kris Faulkner add to this production's general unattractiveness by giving an out-of-place sultriness to an already annoying character? Reynolds continues her irritating behavior with complaints about having to baby-sit for an "ugly cat" after her girlfriend is murdered. So does she have to complain in a voice more suited to whispering in a lover's ear? But hurrah to Books In Motion for its user-friendly packaging. No need for sultry cursing while changing CDs.
