Listeners are treated to six very original short stories masterfully performed by an ensemble of talented narrators. Each story follows a woman who, while investigating a supposed crime, finds herself in a precarious and/or humorous situation. The narrators are perfectly matched to their characters and settings. From Elle Cosimano's real estate lesson on staging a house while solving a murder to Jesse Q. Sutanto's Chinese New Year dinner disaster and to Nita Prose's quirky nosy neighbor story, the plots will entice listeners and sometimes have them laughing along. The narrators effectively differentiate the characters, male and female. The result is a collection full of listening gems--engaging and entertaining from start to finish.
