Swallow masterfully portrays Sam as an overwhelmed nursing mother who is balancing motherhood with her fierce determination for justice. Swallow skillfully differentiates male and female characters, enhancing the listening experience. Newcomers to the series will find enough backstory to quickly grasp the characters and plotlines--and will surely want to listen to the entire series.
