Natalie Naudus delivers an enchanting performance in this unique romantasy. Bianca has always prepared herself for her arranged marriage to stoic Prince Aric. But on their wedding night she doesn't foresee that his life is in danger. While the assassination attempt goes wrong, Aric is turned into a horse, and Bianca is now being framed for his "murder." They have no choice but to ride off toward a solution to the kingdom's upheaval. The pacing in this story is steady, and the romance is a slow burn. Naudus's smooth cadence and regal styling allow the performance to breathe when needed. Action sequences are delivered with poised suspense, and the romance is performed with tenderness.
