Isuri Wijesundara's smooth delivery and pleasant voice provide an interesting counterpoint for the scandalous lives of Andy Warhol's "superstars." The 10 women portrayed before, during, and after their relationships with Warhol and his legendary Factory are the stuff of tabloids. These women from privileged backgrounds shared a desire to be "bad" and gave themselves willingly to lives of sex, drugs, and dubious movie fame while elevating Warhol's social status in the underground art world. Wijesundara doesn't provide much drama in her narration, but she doesn't need to because the lives of Baby Jane Holzer, Edie Sedgwick, Nico, Ultra Violet, Viva, Brigid Berlin, Ingrid Superstar, International Velvet, Mary Woronov, and Candy Darling provide more than enough.
