Wilder wakes up one morning able to comprehend every language in the world. Soon, they are invited to join a coven of witches with similarly awakened powers. But just when they find comfort in their new family and magic, an evil AI threatens to ruin everything. Osworth's enthusiastic narration fills the audiobook with energy and emotional resonance. Their voice for the AI is stilted and full of sinister purpose, and their variation of pitch and cadence emphasizes its corrupt intent. Osworth struggles to differentiate voices, and sometimes the performance verges on melodramatic, but their warm delivery invites listeners in, nonetheless.
