TRIAL AND ERROR

Fans of murder mysteries and English accents will love this listen. David Timson performs this classic crime drama in a way that makes one feel one has just emerged from a London pub in the early 20th century after having a few pints of Guinness with friends while discussing murder. The story revolves around Mr. Todhunter, a stately but ordinary man whose life is upended when he learns he has only a few months to live. He decides that in his remaining time he'll find someone who deserves to be killed. Alas, the best laid plans often go awry, and in Timson's telling of Todhunter's plans, one can't help but be captivated by the novel's twists and turns.
