SUNSET STRIPPED

by | Read by Jamie Cohen

Fiction • 7 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1999

Willie Talburt is a down-and-out screenwriter surrounded by egocentric, traitorous people who pass as friends and lovers. But, hey, it’s Hollywood. Jamie Cohen does an amazing job bringing all these sleazy characters to life--not that anyone would want to get too close to this bunch. You’ll want to wash your hands after hearing his rendition of a Hollywood producer. Writer M.D. Baer tends to overdo the literary references and imagery, but the story is solid. It takes a while to get to the meat of the novel: When our hero falls in love with the gorgeous girlfriend of a producer, the sparks fly. Cohen's dry wit is perfect for this project.
