Laura Knight Keating opens this audiobook in a sarcastic tone that continues throughout. With well-chosen accents and expressive vocal posturing, Keating smoothly portrays 18 unique animal presenters, revealing their attitudes, as well as the information they offer about themselves. Both the writing and the narration are humorous and engaging. Keating's depictions range from the sassy personality of the cleaner fish to the nervous report of the shy hermit crab and a mole who diminishes daddy-long-legs but heaps praise on their "tasty" larvae.
