HOLMES AND MORIARTY

Gareth Armstrong and Michael Fenner portray Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick, Dr. Watson, along with their archenemy, Moriarty, and the psychopath Colonel Sebastian Moran. The surprise in this story is that the four are working together against the forces of evil. Armstrong and Fenner's distinctive tones make the plot easy to follow, and they cope well with the cast of minor characters and diverse accents. Additional Conan Doyle regulars Mycroft Holmes and Inspector Lestrade also make appearances. The story moves apace with plenty of thrills, jumping from London to the Swiss Alps. Those who like their Sherlock Holmes with a touch of Indiana Jones--poisonous green spiders, ancient parchments, the elixir of life, etc.--will enjoy this.
