Each story unfolds like a novella in multiple chapters. The narrators are well matched to the characters and settings, and bring the suspenseful plots to life. Each story is performed by one narrator, the exception being Chris Bohjalian's "The Skydive," narrated by Eric Altheide, Soneela Nankani, and Pete Simonelli. A standout is "The Ex-Wives Club" by Sally Hepworth, performed by Anthea Greco, who voices women of all ages.
