Narrator Adelaide Fernport performs this opposites-attract contemporary romance. When Sadie Fox agrees to return to her small town to care for her father's pumpkin patch, she makes a deal with the universe: She'll grow a huge pumpkin and win the Indiana State Fair's blue ribbon, and all will be well with her father again.
