Kathleen McInerney brings a vibrant playful tone to her narration of these seven whimsical woodland tales. Her energy perfectly suits the lighthearted spirit of the stories, making them enjoyable to listen to with young children. However, because the print version of this work is a picture book, the brief prose and lack of page descriptions in the audiobook leave the listener wanting more context. It's clear that much of the book's charm lies in its illustrations. While McInerney's narration is engaging, this production needs supplemental material to fully shine.
