DOCTOR WHO The Ice Warriors

This original 1967 television soundtrack is considered one of the early "lost" episodes of the long-running BBC series. This production stars Patrick Troughton (the second Doctor) and Frazer Hines, as Jamie. The T.A.R.D.I.S. crew battles a future Ice Age and fends off an angry race of recently thawed Martians. Two of the original five video reels are forever lost from this episode, but the complete soundtrack remains. The sound effects and filtered voices of the aliens are so very 1960s, illustrating just how much groundbreaking and creative audio production work went into the series.
