In this third entry in the series, narrator Jack de Golia portrays unofficial PI Bobby McGowan, who reluctantly agrees to unravel the truth behind a possible snuff video filmed 30 years earlier. De Golia portrays Bobby with a youthful guy-next-door voice that matches Bobby's personality. He skillfully differentiates male characters--young and old, heroes and villains. His portrayals of female characters, who range from a porn-shop owner to Bobby's love interest, are less convincing and occasionally distracting. Ample backstory allows newcomers to quickly get oriented without slowing the pace.
