Caroline Hewitt utilizes her fluency in English and French to great effect in narrating this tale of a magical library that provides its users with the book they need most. When one of the library's books goes missing, Eleanor and Daniel, two former classmates, team up to find it. As their search takes them from Boston to Paris, each character has a distinguishable voice, making it easy for listeners to follow their dialogue. The sound fidelity is excellent; volume levels are consistent, and Hewitt adjusts her pacing as needed. With all that, it's Hewitt's smooth transitioning between English and French that ensures listeners' enjoyment of this novel. [Published: JANUARY 2026]
