Rishøi's book includes three short stories. In the first, about a struggling mother and her daughter, narrator Jesse Vilinsky provides different voices for the characters, but these tend toward exaggeration. In the second story, a man is released from prison. Ulf Bjorklund's narration has a slight accent, with a touch of softness and rasp as the protagonist converses with a psychologist, his son, and others. Bjorklund narrates quickly in a way that that doesn't fit the slower nature of the story. In the final story, three siblings run away in order to stay together. Vilinsky is less overemotive in this story, though the voicing for the younger two siblings is a bit overdone. Overall, the performances of the two narrators are, unfortunately, distracting.
