Hahn, a world-class Roman Catholic apologist and theologian, unearths truths about the Christian God (denominational distinctions are almost nonexistent) as seen through Old Testament promises and New Testament fulfillments. Though a few mispronunciations are evident to the astute listener, Paul Smith fully commits to the text. However, the subheads, very evident as such in the printed book, are not clearly articulated during the reading, and seem to start unfinished sentences, giving a halting effect to the narration. Hahn's intention is to interject humor with these subheads, so to have them not set off in some way from the surrounding text betrays the desires of the writer. But this issue should not deter interested listeners. S.M.M. © AudioFile 2009, Portland, Maine [Published: AUGUST 2009]
