This historical travelogue of London is light fare, but it is entrancingly served up. Ronald Hutton is eloquent, and the fascinating froth of English history is absorbed painlessly. His voice has the right quality; his accent is flawless; he is knowledgeable, agreeable, deferential, in short, charming.
