HOMETOWN HONEYS

HOMETOWN HONEYS is the first of a new line of original, unabridged Romance titles. Each tape in the series contains two stories written specifically for Afterglow. The first story on the cassette, "House Blend," by Celeste Hamilton, is playfully told by B.J. Koonce, who brings the Chattanooga setting alive. Coffeehouse owner Beth Myers is torn between her old flame, a dashing "cappuccino supreme" of a man who is back in town for a visit, and the plain but reliable "house blend" who lives upstairs. On the "B" side, Tom Cassidy reads Leslie Daniels' story, "Mr. Parmenter's Daughter," a twenty-year high school reunion of sorts in which the daughter of the late shop teacher finds love with the onetime bad boy.
