The OMEGA SCROLL

Jim Daly is so talented at portraying a multitude of characters and keeping them all distinct that the listener always knows who is speaking. And all of his talents are called upon in this complex novel of intrigue involving the Catholic Church, Arab terrorists, the Israeli Army, and a team of archaeologists pursuing the elusive Omega Scroll, which has been locked away in a Vatican vault for years. While Daly's Italian and Italian accents are perfect, his Israeli accents and Hebrew are not as strong and not always consistent. However, his emotional range does not disappoint. Unfortunately, this story is way too long for an audiobook--even the flashbacks have flashbacks. An abridged version might be preferable.
