I HAVE AN OLIVE TREE

An Old World family emmigrated to America, leaving behind an olive tree in Greece. Grandfather gave the tree to his granddaughter as a birthday present. Christina Moore reads Sophia well, realistically conveying the innocence of a 7 year old. Initially confused about her gift, she later understands its meaning when she and her mother visit Greece. Moore believably describes the trip from a youngster’s point of view, with just the right touch of awe and wonderment.
