THE ICE OPINION

With great surprise--this Southern church-lady proffers earphones for Ice-T's work. The controversial rap singer reads his philosophy of social issues such as crime, education, drugs, marriage and religion. The philosophy is insightful, the logic is compelling, the reading articulate. In short, the program is excellent. Ice-T reads with a strong voice which backs his convictions. It forces white, middle-class listeners to reconsider values from the viewpoint of an alien culture.
