IN HER DEFENSE

A fairly competent legal thriller in the Grisham mode features an iconoclastic D.C. attorney who takes on the defense of a stunning, wealthy murderess, only to rock the boats of some influential and ruthless people with a guilty secret. Narrator James Naughton, a movie and TV tough guy, has the perfect quality for our tough, worldly, albeit vulnerable, hero.
