Nicholas Hormann takes on the character of a nearly omniscient narrator who gets involved in the story, bending the laws of audiobooks with comic glee. At the same time, he makes Simon and his friends into more or less believable characters even if their situation isn't. This audiobook is a natural for family listening on a long car trip.
