True to the promise on its back cover, this "highly irreverent romp" through the television industry is peppered with zany producers, directors and actors. Our narrator takes us through the conception and hilarious workings of a TV series, and neither souls nor deeds are safe from his pointed pen. George Guidall does a masterful job. Sometimes he makes it all sound like gossip and sometimes like gospel, but he always gives it the flavor its picturesque characters deserve.
