KUNDALINI: ENERGY OF AWAKENING

In the Buddhist tradition, "kundalini" is the energy that governs life and spirituality. Pathak explains it and its benefits to Westerners. In addition, he discusses "chakras"--the six energy centers from the base of the spine to the crown of the head--as well as the principles of "prana," or life force. Although this is an introductory presentation, some understanding of Buddhist principles might be helpful to listeners. Pathak has a clear, mellow voice. However, Westerners may have occasional difficulty understanding his Indian accent and pronunciation. Included with the tape is a helpful booklet, which defines many of the key terms.
