THE LANDLOOKERS

An engaging vision of times past in rural Wisconsin, this audio program is reproduced from the popular Wisconsin Public Radio program, “Chapter-A-Day.” The reading is fine though not as polished as we have come to expect from companies whose productions are specifically designed as audiobooks. However, minor misreadings and little interruptions aside, these stories of an earlier day are filled with humor, anguish and the recollection of hard work.
