LEGENDS: STORIES BY THE MASTERS OF FANTASY, VOL. 3

This trio of fine short stories combined with the accomplished performers who read them brings to mind a kind of literary opera. The three pieces, "Debt of Bones," "Dragonfly," and "The Burning Man," were all chosen as part of the LEGENDS series of fantasy literature and textually work very well in concert with each other. The performers, too, come to the anthology as baritone (Tsoutsouvas), alto (Walker), and tenor (Muller). Each reader brings expert articulation and theatrical background to the story he or she narrates, making the collection a grand orchestration of voices--both in sound and word.
