LESSONS OF THE ANIMAL PEOPLE is a collaboration between artist and producer that creates an exquisite storytelling experience. Through metaphorical stories complemented by music from the women of Ulali, Thomason offers a glimpse into the Native American culture she cherishes. These animal stories were once a way of teaching without punishment and confrontation. Thomason's soft, gentle voice changes to angry, mocking, innocent and wise as she skillfully portrays story characters in a way that is so vivid it creates animated pictures in the listener's mind.
