Murders surround the reappearance of a priceless Velasquez painting, setting a Jewish-American art expert on a dangerous European investigation. Actor Paul Hecht is blessed with a virile, sonorous radio voice, which he uses here to give us a rousing opening. After the introductory section detailing the painting's disappearance behind the Iron Curtain, he becomes strangely anemic before hitting a listenable stride that doesn't live up to the exciting first side.
