Rush Lightbody is a Hollywood screenwriter suffering from Alzheimer's disease, but before he becomes ill, he creates a computer program to think for and take care of him. The program, which successfully allows Rush to function in the real world despite his diminished mental capacity, comes to his rescue when his life is threatened and he becomes a suspected serial killer. Rene Auberjonois's performance is flawless as he effortlessly and convincingly alters his voice for each character and gender.
