THE SEEMS: THE SPLIT SECOND

This clever fantasy, second in the Seems series, is creative, funny, and refreshingly unambiguous in its classic plot of good versus evil. Thirteen-year-old Becker Drane is a Fixer who works with the Seems, an organization dedicated to making sure the world runs smoothly. Drane is brought engagingly to life by Oliver Wyman. He keeps the story moving at a brisk pace and does a superb job crafting distinctive vocal personalities for the cast of international characters. His energetic portrayals of teenagers reflect all the outrage and vehemence of adolescents who fully comprehend the dire straits the world is in.
