MR. PHILLIPS

Mr. Phillips, a London accountant, occupied his days with percentages, mathematical formulas, and, most importantly, thoughts about sex. Now, circumstances beyond his control have made him redundant, and he finds himself wandering aimlessly around London, evaluating his current and future plight while pondering all aspects of normal and abnormal human behavior. Tim Curry zealously portrays the complicated and somewhat perverted Mr. Phillips with calculated accomplishment and deliciously wicked tendencies. After what appears to have been ponderous preparation, Curry's character oozes with marvelous eccentricity and dark humor. Curry is a maestro!
