MRS. POLLIFAX, INNOCENT TOURIST

Emily Pollifax is at it again! This time the CIA spy/senior citizen finds herself on a perilous assignment in the Middle East. Barbara Rosenblat captures the spirit of Mrs. Pollifax, revealing a resourceful spy whose venturesome nature outwits her clever adversaries. Particularly adoring is Pollifax's character-posturing as she travels incognito with her partner in crime. Rosenblat's interpretation of the CIA's Middle Eastern antagonists is convincing and, furthermore, invokes a semblance of jeopardy, adventure and risk.
