MURPHY’S AMBUSH

Whatever genre Gary Paulsen turns his talents to results in success. He teams up with Brian Burks to present a mystery-Western worth its spurs. Sheriff Al Murphy is an appealing character, and he stirs up enough action tracking renegade Apaches to keep all ages entertained. Norman Dietz doesn’t present a highly characterized narration, but he captures the characters with quiet authority.
