What at first sounds like a melodramatic love story becomes a bittersweet love affair through Hill's able voice. With an adept vocal style, Hill takes the listener on a voyeuristic tour of the lush gardens of neighbors in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and presents the nuances of this delicate relationship with ease and simplicity, turning Swann's awkward and sometimes unbelievable story into light pleasure.
