NIGHTMARE FOR DR. MORELLE

Britisher Dudley has been writing radio plays, films and novels about his detective, Dr. Morelle, and his plucky secretary, Miss Frayle, for fifty-plus years. In this convoluted, international whodunit, the doctor tracks down European drug traffickers. As read by Garard Green, the narrative has a definite Edwardian tone. Green sounds like an old Scotland Yard inspector relating a case to friends at his club on the Pall Mall, with all the pluses and minuses that implies.
