MY BIG FAT SUPERNATURAL WEDDING

These stories are a mixed bag of dark urban fantasies, some tending to humor, a few to adventure, and most to romance, some of it steamy. The narrators provide congenial voices, usually matched to the main character of each story, and portray emotions effectively. Accents are one weak spot; they're sometimes inconsistent, sometimes painfully unconvincing, such as the British accents in Susan Krinard's "…Or Forever Hold Your Peace." Another weakness is vocal variation, especially for the opposite sex. However, the male reader of Sherrilyn Kenyon's "A Hard Day's Night Searcher" is excellent on both counts, a real standout.
