Peter L. Bernstein, who died on June 5, 2009, was one of our nation’s most skilled popularizers of financial history and investment concepts. For his last book—a sequel to his 1992 classic, CAPITAL IDEAS—Bernstein sat down with some of the top thinkers in finance and explored their most influential theories. Sean Pratt is a veteran narrator of finance books (including several other of Bernstein's titles), and he delivers this complex material confidently and clearly, though he stumbles on a few pronunciations that should have been caught by an editor.
