JASPER DASH AND THE FLAME-PITS OF DELAWARE A Pals in Peril Tale

The third episode of Anderson’s Pals in Peril series has Jasper Dash and his friends, Katie Mulligan and Lily Gefelty, tracking a team of champion athletes/art thieves who are looting a monastery hidden in the mythical mountains of northern Delaware. What??? Delaware has mountains? Yes. This is a here-to-fore well-hidden Delaware, out of sight to the average traveler. Marc Cashman's unembellished delivery belies a wacky mixture of adventure and absurdity. Cashman gives equal weight to the spoofs of Indiana Jones, Eragon, mystical religions, and exotic locales as he narrates with a careful enunciation and seriousness that allow this playful story to masquerade as an adventure-filled mystery.
