Mark Rolston wins the difficult pronunciation contest hands down. "Seanchan," "Shaido Aiel," "Ebou Dar," "Nynaeve," "Aviendha" all roll off his tongue easily. Jordan's sequel to A CROWN OF SWORDS is action packed with battles, skirmishes and intrigues. For the uninitiated, the abridged plot is a bit difficult to follow, but Rolston easily differentiates the numerous characters, and his inflections let listeners know who wears the white hats.
