TORCHWOOD: THE DEAD LINE

Based on the BBC television series, THE DEAD LINE has the Torchwood team investigating an epidemic of people suffering trance-like comas triggered by a mysterious phone call. When team leader Captain Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) answers a call, his immortality is called into question when he also falls into a trance. As with most BBC Radio One programs, high production values and top-notch acting help bring the listener into the intensity of the story. Listeners will feel they’re alongside Gwen and Ianto (played by Eve Myles and Gareth David-Lloyd). While the story itself is a rehash of the plots of various horror films, the entire listening experience is rendered all the more vibrant by the amazing engineering behind the series.
