Saul's science thriller takes us to Maui, where archaeologist Katharine Sundquist has stumbled onto a terrifying project in the heart of the jungle. Unknowingly her son has found the project, too. Richard Ferrone's narration shines in its impeccable timing. Unfortunately, anyone who has made even a brief visit to the islands will cringe at his mispronunciations of the common Hawaiian words and city names sprinkled throughout the book.
