BELINDA

Jeremy Walker, a middle-aged illustrator of children's books, falls in love with sixteen-year-old Belinda. Their illicit affair begins, but Jeremy is compelled to search out Belinda's secrets. As with many abridgments, the producers seem to suddenly realize they're running out of time and abruptly wrap up the story. Fortunately, actor Al Mohrmann reads the first-person narrative beautifully. Fans of Rice will be disappointed by the absence of vampires but may want this anyway.
