A frank and energetic live performance by Marianne Williamson applies the principles of her Course in Miracles ideology. The production is slightly jarring as the audience participates at various points and the questions begin off-microphone. Also, the audience’s response to Williamson could come across as a laugh track as they are more than willing to go along with her rhetorical questions and self-deprecation. However, Williamson herself delivers each sentence with such emphasis that the listener can’t help but feel buoyed by her intensity. Whether this effect continues after one walks away, however, is uncertain. Perhaps a studio recording would give this title another chance at being listened to with fewer distractions.
